CVE-2024-6387 9 Amazon, Canonical, Debian and 6 more 20 Linux 2023, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 17 more 2024-07-30 N/A 8.1 HIGH
A security regression (CVE-2006-5051) was discovered in OpenSSH's server (sshd). There is a race condition which can lead sshd to handle some signals in an unsafe manner. An unauthenticated, remote attacker may be able to trigger it by failing to authenticate within a set time period.
CVE-2019-0211 8 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 5 more 27 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 24 more 2024-07-25 7.2 HIGH 7.8 HIGH
In Apache HTTP Server 2.4 releases 2.4.17 to 2.4.38, with MPM event, worker or prefork, code executing in less-privileged child processes or threads (including scripts executed by an in-process scripting interpreter) could execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the parent process (usually root) by manipulating the scoreboard. Non-Unix systems are not affected.
CVE-2019-11043 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more 23 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 20 more 2024-07-16 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
In PHP versions 7.1.x below 7.1.33, 7.2.x below 7.2.24 and 7.3.x below 7.3.11 in certain configurations of FPM setup it is possible to cause FPM module to write past allocated buffers into the space reserved for FCGI protocol data, thus opening the possibility of remote code execution.
CVE-2023-6536 2 Linux, Redhat 16 Linux Kernel, Codeready Linux Builder Eus, Codeready Linux Builder Eus For Power Little Endian Eus and 13 more 2024-07-08 N/A 7.5 HIGH
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's NVMe driver. This issue may allow an unauthenticated malicious actor to send a set of crafted TCP packages when using NVMe over TCP, leading the NVMe driver to a NULL pointer dereference in the NVMe driver, causing kernel panic and a denial of service.
CVE-2023-6535 2 Linux, Redhat 16 Linux Kernel, Codeready Linux Builder Eus, Codeready Linux Builder Eus For Power Little Endian Eus and 13 more 2024-07-08 N/A 7.5 HIGH
CVE-2023-6356 2 Linux, Redhat 16 Linux Kernel, Codeready Linux Builder Eus, Codeready Linux Builder Eus For Power Little Endian Eus and 13 more 2024-07-08 N/A 7.5 HIGH
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's NVMe driver. This issue may allow an unauthenticated malicious actor to send a set of crafted TCP packages when using NVMe over TCP, leading the NVMe driver to a NULL pointer dereference in the NVMe driver and causing kernel panic and a denial of service.
CVE-2023-3972 1 Redhat 19 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Aus, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 16 more 2024-07-03 N/A 7.8 HIGH
A vulnerability was found in insights-client. This security issue occurs because of insecure file operations or unsafe handling of temporary files and directories that lead to local privilege escalation. Before the insights-client has been registered on the system by root, an unprivileged local user or attacker could create the /var/tmp/insights-client directory (owning the directory with read, write, and execute permissions) on the system. After the insights-client is registered by root, an attacker could then control the directory content that insights are using by putting malicious scripts into it and executing arbitrary code as root (trivially bypassing SELinux protections because insights processes are allowed to disable SELinux system-wide).
CVE-2023-5157 3 Fedoraproject, Mariadb, Redhat 12 Fedora, Mariadb, Enterprise Linux and 9 more 2024-06-18 N/A 7.5 HIGH
A vulnerability was found in MariaDB. An OpenVAS port scan on ports 3306 and 4567 allows a malicious remote client to cause a denial of service.
CVE-2023-4911 3 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Redhat 15 Fedora, Glibc, Codeready Linux Builder Eus and 12 more 2024-02-22 N/A 7.8 HIGH
A buffer overflow was discovered in the GNU C Library's dynamic loader ld.so while processing the GLIBC_TUNABLES environment variable. This issue could allow a local attacker to use maliciously crafted GLIBC_TUNABLES environment variables when launching binaries with SUID permission to execute code with elevated privileges.
CVE-2023-5455 3 Fedoraproject, Freeipa, Redhat 21 Fedora, Freeipa, Codeready Linux Builder and 18 more 2024-02-20 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
A Cross-site request forgery vulnerability exists in ipa/session/login_password in all supported versions of IPA. This flaw allows an attacker to trick the user into submitting a request that could perform actions as the user, resulting in a loss of confidentiality and system integrity. During community penetration testing it was found that for certain HTTP end-points FreeIPA does not ensure CSRF protection. Due to implementation details one cannot use this flaw for reflection of a cookie representing already logged-in user. An attacker would always have to go through a new authentication attempt.
CVE-2023-4806 3 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Redhat 22 Fedora, Glibc, Codeready Linux Builder Eus and 19 more 2024-01-25 N/A 5.9 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in glibc. In an extremely rare situation, the getaddrinfo function may access memory that has been freed, resulting in an application crash. This issue is only exploitable when a NSS module implements only the _nss_*_gethostbyname2_r and _nss_*_getcanonname_r hooks without implementing the _nss_*_gethostbyname3_r hook. The resolved name should return a large number of IPv6 and IPv4, and the call to the getaddrinfo function should have the AF_INET6 address family with AI_CANONNAME, AI_ALL and AI_V4MAPPED as flags.
CVE-2023-4527 4 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Netapp and 1 more 32 Fedora, Glibc, H300s and 29 more 2023-12-28 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in glibc. When the getaddrinfo function is called with the AF_UNSPEC address family and the system is configured with no-aaaa mode via /etc/resolv.conf, a DNS response via TCP larger than 2048 bytes can potentially disclose stack contents through the function returned address data, and may cause a crash.
CVE-2023-3899 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat 20 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 17 more 2023-11-09 N/A 7.8 HIGH
A vulnerability was found in subscription-manager that allows local privilege escalation due to inadequate authorization. The D-Bus interface com.redhat.RHSM1 exposes a significant number of methods to all users that could change the state of the registration. By using the com.redhat.RHSM1.Config.SetAll() method, a low-privileged local user could tamper with the state of the registration, by unregistering the system or by changing the current entitlements. This flaw allows an attacker to set arbitrary configuration directives for /etc/rhsm/rhsm.conf, which can be abused to cause a local privilege escalation to an unconfined root.
