| Linux kernel versions 4.9+ can be forced to make very expensive calls to tcp_collapse_ofo_queue() and tcp_prune_ofo_queue() for every incoming packet which can lead to a denial of service. | |||||
| CVE-2018-20662 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 11 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 8 more | 2023-11-07 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| In Poppler 0.72.0, PDFDoc::setup in PDFDoc.cc allows attackers to cause a denial-of-service (application crash caused by Object.h SIGABRT, because of a wrong return value from PDFDoc::setup) by crafting a PDF file in which an xref data structure is mishandled during extractPDFSubtype processing. | |||||
| CVE-2018-20615 | 4 Canonical, Haproxy, Opensuse and 1 more | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Haproxy, Leap and 2 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| An out-of-bounds read issue was discovered in the HTTP/2 protocol decoder in HAProxy 1.8.x and 1.9.x through 1.9.0 which can result in a crash. The processing of the PRIORITY flag in a HEADERS frame requires 5 extra bytes, and while these bytes are skipped, the total frame length was not re-checked to make sure they were present in the frame. | |||||
| CVE-2018-20346 | 5 Debian, Google, Opensuse and 2 more | 5 Debian Linux, Chrome, Leap and 2 more | 2023-11-07 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.1 HIGH |
| SQLite before 3.25.3, when the FTS3 extension is enabled, encounters an integer overflow (and resultant buffer overflow) for FTS3 queries that occur after crafted changes to FTS3 shadow tables, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by leveraging the ability to run arbitrary SQL statements (such as in certain WebSQL use cases), aka Magellan. | |||||
| CVE-2018-20103 | 3 Canonical, Haproxy, Redhat | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Haproxy, Openshift Container Platform | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| An issue was discovered in dns.c in HAProxy through 1.8.14. In the case of a compressed pointer, a crafted packet can trigger infinite recursion by making the pointer point to itself, or create a long chain of valid pointers resulting in stack exhaustion. | |||||
| CVE-2018-20102 | 3 Canonical, Haproxy, Redhat | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Haproxy, Openshift Container Platform | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| An out-of-bounds read in dns_validate_dns_response in dns.c was discovered in HAProxy through 1.8.14. Due to a missing check when validating DNS responses, remote attackers might be able read the 16 bytes corresponding to an AAAA record from the non-initialized part of the buffer, possibly accessing anything that was left on the stack, or even past the end of the 8193-byte buffer, depending on the value of accepted_payload_size. | |||||
| CVE-2018-20097 | 4 Debian, Exiv2, Fedoraproject and 1 more | 6 Debian Linux, Exiv2, Fedora and 3 more | 2023-11-07 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| There is a SEGV in Exiv2::Internal::TiffParserWorker::findPrimaryGroups of tiffimage_int.cpp in Exiv2 0.27-RC3. A crafted input will lead to a remote denial of service attack. | |||||
| CVE-2018-1333 | 4 Apache, Canonical, Netapp and 1 more | 6 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Cloud Backup and 3 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| By specially crafting HTTP/2 requests, workers would be allocated 60 seconds longer than necessary, leading to worker exhaustion and a denial of service. Fixed in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.34 (Affected 2.4.18-2.4.30,2.4.33). | |||||
| CVE-2018-1312 | 5 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 2 more | 14 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 11 more | 2023-11-07 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| In Apache httpd 2.2.0 to 2.4.29, when generating an HTTP Digest authentication challenge, the nonce sent to prevent reply attacks was not correctly generated using a pseudo-random seed. In a cluster of servers using a common Digest authentication configuration, HTTP requests could be replayed across servers by an attacker without detection. | |||||
| CVE-2018-1301 | 5 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 2 more | 8 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 5 more | 2023-11-07 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| A specially crafted request could have crashed the Apache HTTP Server prior to version 2.4.30, due to an out of bound access after a size limit is reached by reading the HTTP header. This vulnerability is considered very hard if not impossible to trigger in non-debug mode (both log and build level), so it is classified as low risk for common server usage. | |||||
| CVE-2018-1288 | 3 Apache, Oracle, Redhat | 5 Kafka, Database, Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management and 2 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.5 MEDIUM | 5.4 MEDIUM |
| In Apache Kafka 0.9.0.0 to 0.9.0.1, 0.10.0.0 to 0.10.2.1, 0.11.0.0 to 0.11.0.2, and 1.0.0, authenticated Kafka users may perform action reserved for the Broker via a manually created fetch request interfering with data replication, resulting in data loss. | |||||
| CVE-2018-1283 | 5 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 2 more | 8 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 5 more | 2023-11-07 | 3.5 LOW | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| In Apache httpd 2.4.0 to 2.4.29, when mod_session is configured to forward its session data to CGI applications (SessionEnv on, not the default), a remote user may influence their content by using a "Session" header. This comes from the "HTTP_SESSION" variable name used by mod_session to forward its data to CGIs, since the prefix "HTTP_" is also used by the Apache HTTP Server to pass HTTP header fields, per CGI specifications. | |||||
| CVE-2018-1270 | 4 Debian, Oracle, Redhat and 1 more | 28 Debian Linux, Application Testing Suite, Big Data Discovery and 25 more | 2023-11-07 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| Spring Framework, versions 5.0 prior to 5.0.5 and versions 4.3 prior to 4.3.15 and older unsupported versions, allow applications to expose STOMP over WebSocket endpoints with a simple, in-memory STOMP broker through the spring-messaging module. A malicious user (or attacker) can craft a message to the broker that can lead to a remote code execution attack. | |||||
| CVE-2018-1199 | 3 Oracle, Redhat, Vmware | 5 Rapid Planning, Retail Xstore Point Of Service, Fuse and 2 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| Spring Security (Spring Security 4.1.x before 4.1.5, 4.2.x before 4.2.4, and 5.0.x before 5.0.1; and Spring Framework 4.3.x before 4.3.14 and 5.0.x before 5.0.3) does not consider URL path parameters when processing security constraints. By adding a URL path parameter with special encodings, an attacker may be able to bypass a security constraint. The root cause of this issue is a lack of clarity regarding the handling of path parameters in the Servlet Specification. Some Servlet containers include path parameters in the value returned for getPathInfo() and some do not. Spring Security uses the value returned by getPathInfo() as part of the process of mapping requests to security constraints. In this particular attack, different character encodings used in path parameters allows secured Spring MVC static resource URLs to be bypassed. | |||||
| CVE-2018-1100 | 3 Canonical, Redhat, Zsh | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop, Enterprise Linux Server and 2 more | 2023-11-07 | 7.2 HIGH | 7.8 HIGH |
| zsh through version 5.4.2 is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow in the utils.c:checkmailpath function. A local attacker could exploit this to execute arbitrary code in the context of another user. | |||||
