CVE-2021-35477 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel 2023-11-07 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel through 5.13.7, an unprivileged BPF program can obtain sensitive information from kernel memory via a Speculative Store Bypass side-channel attack because a certain preempting store operation does not necessarily occur before a store operation that has an attacker-controlled value.
CVE-2021-34788 3 Apple, Cisco, Linux 3 Macos, Anyconnect Secure Mobility Client, Linux Kernel 2023-11-07 6.9 MEDIUM 7.0 HIGH
A vulnerability in the shared library loading mechanism of Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client for Linux and Mac OS could allow an authenticated, local attacker to perform a shared library hijacking attack on an affected device if the VPN Posture (HostScan) Module is installed on the AnyConnect client. This vulnerability is due to a race condition in the signature verification process for shared library files that are loaded on an affected device. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a series of crafted interprocess communication (IPC) messages to the AnyConnect process. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code on the affected device with root privileges. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have a valid account on the system.
CVE-2021-34556 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel 2023-11-07 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel through 5.13.7, an unprivileged BPF program can obtain sensitive information from kernel memory via a Speculative Store Bypass side-channel attack because the protection mechanism neglects the possibility of uninitialized memory locations on the BPF stack.
CVE-2021-33909 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 3 more 8 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 5 more 2023-11-07 7.2 HIGH 7.8 HIGH
fs/seq_file.c in the Linux kernel 3.16 through 5.13.x before 5.13.4 does not properly restrict seq buffer allocations, leading to an integer overflow, an Out-of-bounds Write, and escalation to root by an unprivileged user, aka CID-8cae8cd89f05.
CVE-2021-33034 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel 2023-11-07 4.6 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel before 5.12.4, net/bluetooth/hci_event.c has a use-after-free when destroying an hci_chan, aka CID-5c4c8c954409. This leads to writing an arbitrary value.
CVE-2021-31829 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel 2023-11-07 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
kernel/bpf/verifier.c in the Linux kernel through 5.12.1 performs undesirable speculative loads, leading to disclosure of stack content via side-channel attacks, aka CID-801c6058d14a. The specific concern is not protecting the BPF stack area against speculative loads. Also, the BPF stack can contain uninitialized data that might represent sensitive information previously operated on by the kernel.
CVE-2021-31822 2 Linux, Octopus 2 Linux Kernel, Tentacle 2023-11-07 4.6 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
When Octopus Tentacle is installed on a Linux operating system, the systemd service file permissions are misconfigured. This could lead to a local unprivileged user modifying the contents of the systemd service file to gain privileged access.
CVE-2021-31820 3 Linux, Microsoft, Octopus 3 Linux Kernel, Windows, Octopus Server 2023-11-07 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
In Octopus Server after version 2018.8.2 if the Octopus Server Web Request Proxy is configured with authentication, the password is shown in plaintext in the UI.
CVE-2021-30565 3 Fedoraproject, Google, Linux 4 Fedora, Chrome, Chrome Os and 1 more 2023-11-07 6.8 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
Out of bounds write in Tab Groups in Google Chrome on Linux and ChromeOS prior to 92.0.4515.107 allowed an attacker who convinced a user to install a malicious extension to perform an out of bounds memory write via a crafted HTML page.
CVE-2021-30178 2 Fedoraproject, Linux 2 Fedora, Linux Kernel 2023-11-07 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel through 5.11.11. synic_get in arch/x86/kvm/hyperv.c has a NULL pointer dereference for certain accesses to the SynIC Hyper-V context, aka CID-919f4ebc5987.
CVE-2021-29650 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel 2023-11-07 4.9 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.11.11. The netfilter subsystem allows attackers to cause a denial of service (panic) because net/netfilter/x_tables.c and include/linux/netfilter/x_tables.h lack a full memory barrier upon the assignment of a new table value, aka CID-175e476b8cdf.
CVE-2021-29649 2 Fedoraproject, Linux 2 Fedora, Linux Kernel 2023-11-07 4.9 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.11.11. The user mode driver (UMD) has a copy_process() memory leak, related to a lack of cleanup steps in kernel/usermode_driver.c and kernel/bpf/preload/bpf_preload_kern.c, aka CID-f60a85cad677.
CVE-2021-29648 2 Fedoraproject, Linux 2 Fedora, Linux Kernel 2023-11-07 4.9 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.11.11. The BPF subsystem does not properly consider that resolved_ids and resolved_sizes are intentionally uninitialized in the vmlinux BPF Type Format (BTF), which can cause a system crash upon an unexpected access attempt (in map_create in kernel/bpf/syscall.c or check_btf_info in kernel/bpf/verifier.c), aka CID-350a5c4dd245.
CVE-2021-29647 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel 2023-11-07 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.11.11. qrtr_recvmsg in net/qrtr/qrtr.c allows attackers to obtain sensitive information from kernel memory because of a partially uninitialized data structure, aka CID-50535249f624.
CVE-2021-29646 2 Fedoraproject, Linux 2 Fedora, Linux Kernel 2023-11-07 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
