The iconv function in the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) 2.32 and earlier, when processing invalid input sequences in the ISO-2022-JP-3 encoding, fails an assertion in the code path and aborts the program, potentially resulting in a denial of service.
CVE-2021-3281 | 3 Djangoproject, Fedoraproject, Netapp | 3 Django, Fedora, Snapcenter | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
In Django 2.2 before 2.2.18, 3.0 before 3.0.12, and 3.1 before 3.1.6, the django.utils.archive.extract method (used by "startapp --template" and "startproject --template") allows directory traversal via an archive with absolute paths or relative paths with dot segments.
CVE-2021-3177 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 2 more | 10 Debian Linux, Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager and 7 more | 2023-11-07 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
Python 3.x through 3.9.1 has a buffer overflow in PyCArg_repr in _ctypes/callproc.c, which may lead to remote code execution in certain Python applications that accept floating-point numbers as untrusted input, as demonstrated by a 1e300 argument to c_double.from_param. This occurs because sprintf is used unsafely.
CVE-2021-3115 | 4 Fedoraproject, Golang, Microsoft and 1 more | 5 Fedora, Go, Windows and 2 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.1 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
Go before 1.14.14 and 1.15.x before 1.15.7 on Windows is vulnerable to Command Injection and remote code execution when using the "go get" command to fetch modules that make use of cgo (for example, cgo can execute a gcc program from an untrusted download).
CVE-2021-3114 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Golang and 1 more | 5 Debian Linux, Fedora, Go and 2 more | 2023-11-07 | 6.4 MEDIUM | 6.5 MEDIUM |
In Go before 1.14.14 and 1.15.x before 1.15.7, crypto/elliptic/p224.go can generate incorrect outputs, related to an underflow of the lowest limb during the final complete reduction in the P-224 field.

ap_escape_quotes() may write beyond the end of a buffer when given malicious input. No included modules pass untrusted data to these functions, but third-party / external modules may. This issue affects Apache HTTP Server 2.4.48 and earlier.
CVE-2021-39154 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 2 more | 15 Debian Linux, Fedora, Snapmanager and 12 more | 2023-11-07 | 6.0 MEDIUM | 8.5 HIGH |
XStream is a simple library to serialize objects to XML and back again. In affected versions this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to load and execute arbitrary code from a remote host only by manipulating the processed input stream. No user is affected, who followed the recommendation to setup XStream's security framework with a whitelist limited to the minimal required types. XStream 1.4.18 uses no longer a blacklist by default, since it cannot be secured for general purpose.

XStream is a simple library to serialize objects to XML and back again. In affected versions this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to load and execute arbitrary code from a remote host only by manipulating the processed input stream. A user is only affected if using the version out of the box with JDK 1.7u21 or below. However, this scenario can be adjusted easily to an external Xalan that works regardless of the version of the Java runtime. CVE-2021-37714 | 4 Jsoup, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more | 16 Jsoup, Management Services For Element Software And Netapp Hci, Banking Trade Finance and 13 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
jsoup is a Java library for working with HTML. Those using jsoup versions prior to 1.14.2 to parse untrusted HTML or XML may be vulnerable to DOS attacks. If the parser is run on user supplied input, an attacker may supply content that causes the parser to get stuck (loop indefinitely until cancelled), to complete more slowly than usual, or to throw an unexpected exception. This effect may support a denial of service attack. The issue is patched in version 1.14.2. There are a few available workarounds. Users may rate limit input parsing, limit the size of inputs based on system resources, and/or implement thread watchdogs to cap and timeout parse runtimes. |
