| CVE-2021-37706 | 4 Asterisk, Debian, Sangoma and 1 more | 4 Certified Asterisk, Debian Linux, Asterisk and 1 more | 2023-08-30 | 9.3 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C language implementing standard based protocols such as SIP, SDP, RTP, STUN, TURN, and ICE. In affected versions if the incoming STUN message contains an ERROR-CODE attribute, the header length is not checked before performing a subtraction operation, potentially resulting in an integer underflow scenario. This issue affects all users that use STUN. A malicious actor located within the victim’s network may forge and send a specially crafted UDP (STUN) message that could remotely execute arbitrary code on the victim’s machine. Users are advised to upgrade as soon as possible. There are no known workarounds. | |||||
| CVE-2023-39945 | 2 Debian, Eprosima | 2 Debian Linux, Fast Dds | 2023-08-22 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| eprosima Fast DDS is a C++ implementation of the Data Distribution Service standard of the Object Management Group. Prior to versions 2.11.0, 2.10.2, 2.9.2, and 2.6.5, a data submessage sent to PDP port raises unhandled `BadParamException` in fastcdr, which in turn crashes fastdds. Versions 2.11.0, 2.10.2, 2.9.2, and 2.6.5 contain a patch for this issue. | |||||
| CVE-2023-39534 | 2 Debian, Eprosima | 2 Debian Linux, Fast Dds | 2023-08-22 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| eprosima Fast DDS is a C++ implementation of the Data Distribution Service standard of the Object Management Group. Prior to versions 2.10.0, 2.9.2, and 2.6.5, a malformed GAP submessage can trigger assertion failure, crashing FastDDS. Version 2.10.0, 2.9.2, and 2.6.5 contain a patch for this issue. | |||||
| CVE-2020-27673 | 4 Debian, Linux, Opensuse and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Leap and 1 more | 2023-08-22 | 4.9 MEDIUM | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel through 5.9.1, as used with Xen through 4.14.x. Guest OS users can cause a denial of service (host OS hang) via a high rate of events to dom0, aka CID-e99502f76271. | |||||
| CVE-2023-39947 | 2 Debian, Eprosima | 2 Debian Linux, Fast Dds | 2023-08-22 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| eprosima Fast DDS is a C++ implementation of the Data Distribution Service standard of the Object Management Group. Prior to versions 2.11.1, 2.10.2, 2.9.2, and 2.6.6, even after the fix at commit 3492270, malformed `PID_PROPERTY_LIST` parameters cause heap overflow at a different program counter. This can remotely crash any Fast-DDS process. Versions 2.11.1, 2.10.2, 2.9.2, and 2.6.6 contain a patch for this issue. | |||||
| CVE-2023-39946 | 2 Debian, Eprosima | 2 Debian Linux, Fast Dds | 2023-08-22 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| eprosima Fast DDS is a C++ implementation of the Data Distribution Service standard of the Object Management Group. Prior to versions 2.11.1, 2.10.2, 2.9.2, and 2.6.6, heap can be overflowed by providing a PID_PROPERTY_LIST parameter that contains a CDR string with length larger than the size of actual content. In `eprosima::fastdds::dds::ParameterPropertyList_t::push_back_helper`, `memcpy` is called to first copy the octet'ized length and then to copy the data into `properties_.data`. At the second memcpy, both `data` and `size` can be controlled by anyone that sends the CDR string to the discovery multicast port. This can remotely crash any Fast-DDS process. Versions 2.11.1, 2.10.2, 2.9.2, and 2.6.6 contain a patch for this issue. | |||||
| CVE-2023-39948 | 2 Debian, Eprosima | 2 Debian Linux, Fast Dds | 2023-08-21 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| eprosima Fast DDS is a C++ implementation of the Data Distribution Service standard of the Object Management Group. Prior to versions 2.10.0 and 2.6.5, the `BadParamException` thrown by Fast CDR is not caught in Fast DDS. This can remotely crash any Fast DDS process. Versions 2.10.0 and 2.6.5 contain a patch for this issue. | |||||
| CVE-2023-39949 | 2 Debian, Eprosima | 2 Debian Linux, Fast Dds | 2023-08-21 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| eprosima Fast DDS is a C++ implementation of the Data Distribution Service standard of the Object Management Group. Prior to versions 2.9.1 and 2.6.5, improper validation of sequence numbers may lead to remotely reachable assertion failure. This can remotely crash any Fast-DDS process. Versions 2.9.1 and 2.6.5 contain a patch for this issue. | |||||
| CVE-2022-2196 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2023-08-18 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
| A regression exists in the Linux Kernel within KVM: nVMX that allowed for speculative execution attacks. L2 can carry out Spectre v2 attacks on L1 due to L1 thinking it doesn't need retpolines or IBPB after running L2 due to KVM (L0) advertising eIBRS support to L1. An attacker at L2 with code execution can execute code on an indirect branch on the host machine. We recommend upgrading to Kernel 6.2 or past commit 2e7eab81425a | |||||
| CVE-2022-3623 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2023-08-18 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| A vulnerability was found in Linux Kernel. It has been declared as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is the function follow_page_pte of the file mm/gup.c of the component BPF. The manipulation leads to race condition. The attack can be launched remotely. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. The identifier VDB-211921 was assigned to this vulnerability. | |||||
| CVE-2022-23221 | 3 Debian, H2database, Oracle | 3 Debian Linux, H2, Communications Cloud Native Core Console | 2023-08-18 | 10.0 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| H2 Console before 2.1.210 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a jdbc:h2:mem JDBC URL containing the IGNORE_UNKNOWN_SETTINGS=TRUE;FORBID_CREATION=FALSE;INIT=RUNSCRIPT substring, a different vulnerability than CVE-2021-42392. | |||||
| CVE-2023-4056 | 2 Debian, Mozilla | 3 Debian Linux, Firefox, Firefox Esr | 2023-08-11 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| Memory safety bugs present in Firefox 115, Firefox ESR 115.0, Firefox ESR 102.13, Thunderbird 115.0, and Thunderbird 102.13. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 116, Firefox ESR < 102.14, and Firefox ESR < 115.1. | |||||
| CVE-2023-4048 | 2 Debian, Mozilla | 3 Debian Linux, Firefox, Firefox Esr | 2023-08-11 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| An out-of-bounds read could have led to an exploitable crash when parsing HTML with DOMParser in low memory situations. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 116, Firefox ESR < 102.14, and Firefox ESR < 115.1. | |||||
| CVE-2019-15917 | 3 Debian, Linux, Opensuse | 3 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Leap | 2023-08-11 | 6.9 MEDIUM | 7.0 HIGH |
| An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.0.5. There is a use-after-free issue when hci_uart_register_dev() fails in hci_uart_set_proto() in drivers/bluetooth/hci_ldisc.c. | |||||
| CVE-2023-0045 | 3 Debian, Linux, Netapp | 13 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Active Iq Unified Manager and 10 more | 2023-08-11 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| The current implementation of the prctl syscall does not issue an IBPB immediately during the syscall. The ib_prctl_set function updates the Thread Information Flags (TIFs) for the task and updates the SPEC_CTRL MSR on the function __speculation_ctrl_update, but the IBPB is only issued on the next schedule, when the TIF bits are checked. This leaves the victim vulnerable to values already injected on the BTB, prior to the prctl syscall. The patch that added the support for the conditional mitigation via prctl (ib_prctl_set) dates back to the kernel 4.9.176. We recommend upgrading past commit a664ec9158eeddd75121d39c9a0758016097fa96 | |||||
| CVE-2018-16884 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 1 more | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 2 more | 2023-08-11 | 6.7 MEDIUM | 8.0 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's NFS41+ subsystem. NFS41+ shares mounted in different network namespaces at the same time can make bc_svc_process() use wrong back-channel IDs and cause a use-after-free vulnerability. Thus a malicious container user can cause a host kernel memory corruption and a system panic. Due to the nature of the flaw, privilege escalation cannot be fully ruled out. | |||||
