A flaw was found in the way nettle's RSA decryption functions handled specially crafted ciphertext. An attacker could use this flaw to provide a manipulated ciphertext leading to application crash and denial of service.
CVE-2021-20314 3 Fedoraproject, Libspf2, Redhat 3 Fedora, Libspf2, Enterprise Linux 2024-01-15 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
Stack buffer overflow in libspf2 versions below 1.2.11 when processing certain SPF macros can lead to Denial of service and potentially code execution via malicious crafted SPF explanation messages.
CVE-2023-38201 3 Fedoraproject, Keylime, Redhat 9 Fedora, Keylime, Enterprise Linux and 6 more 2024-01-12 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in the Keylime registrar that could allow a bypass of the challenge-response protocol during agent registration. This issue may allow an attacker to impersonate an agent and hide the true status of a monitored machine if the fake agent is added to the verifier list by a legitimate user, resulting in a breach of the integrity of the registrar database.
CVE-2008-6123 4 Net-snmp, Opensuse, Redhat and 1 more 4 Net-snmp, Opensuse, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2024-01-12 5.0 MEDIUM N/A
The netsnmp_udp_fmtaddr function (snmplib/snmpUDPDomain.c) in net-snmp 5.0.9 through 5.4.2.1, when using TCP wrappers for client authorization, does not properly parse hosts.allow rules, which allows remote attackers to bypass intended access restrictions and execute SNMP queries, related to "source/destination IP address confusion."
CVE-2023-4387 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2024-01-12 N/A 7.1 HIGH
A use-after-free flaw was found in vmxnet3_rq_alloc_rx_buf in drivers/net/vmxnet3/vmxnet3_drv.c in VMware's vmxnet3 ethernet NIC driver in the Linux Kernel. This issue could allow a local attacker to crash the system due to a double-free while cleaning up vmxnet3_rq_cleanup_all, which could also lead to a kernel information leak problem.
CVE-2023-3212 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 2 more 14 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 11 more 2024-01-11 N/A 4.4 MEDIUM
A NULL pointer dereference issue was found in the gfs2 file system in the Linux kernel. It occurs on corrupt gfs2 file systems when the evict code tries to reference the journal descriptor structure after it has been freed and set to NULL. A privileged local user could use this flaw to cause a kernel panic.
CVE-2023-1206 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2024-01-11 N/A 5.7 MEDIUM
A hash collision flaw was found in the IPv6 connection lookup table in the Linux kernel’s IPv6 functionality when a user makes a new kind of SYN flood attack. A user located in the local network or with a high bandwidth connection can increase the CPU usage of the server that accepts IPV6 connections up to 95%.
CVE-2021-3600 4 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more 4 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 1 more 2024-01-11 N/A 7.8 HIGH
It was discovered that the eBPF implementation in the Linux kernel did not properly track bounds information for 32 bit registers when performing div and mod operations. A local attacker could use this to possibly execute arbitrary code.
CVE-2016-10165 6 Canonical, Debian, Littlecms and 3 more 19 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Little Cms Color Engine and 16 more 2024-01-10 5.8 MEDIUM 7.1 HIGH
The Type_MLU_Read function in cmstypes.c in Little CMS (aka lcms2) allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information or cause a denial of service via an image with a crafted ICC profile, which triggers an out-of-bounds heap read.
CVE-2008-0008 3 Mandrakesoft, Pulseaudio, Redhat 3 Mandrake Linux, Pulseaudio, Fedora 2024-01-09 7.2 HIGH N/A
The pa_drop_root function in PulseAudio 0.9.8, and a certain 0.9.9 build, does not check return values from (1) setresuid, (2) setreuid, (3) setuid, and (4) seteuid calls when attempting to drop privileges, which might allow local users to gain privileges by causing those calls to fail via attacks such as resource exhaustion.
CVE-2015-8103 2 Jenkins, Redhat 2 Jenkins, Openshift Container Platform 2024-01-09 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
The Jenkins CLI subsystem in Jenkins before 1.638 and LTS before 1.625.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted serialized Java object, related to a problematic webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/lib/commons-collections-*.jar file and the "Groovy variant in 'ysoserial'".

A flaw was found in the c-ares package. The ares_set_sortlist is missing checks about the validity of the input string, which allows a possible arbitrary length stack overflow. This issue may cause a denial of service or a limited impact on confidentiality and integrity.
CVE-2021-3672 6 C-ares Project, Fedoraproject, Nodejs and 3 more 17 C-ares, Fedora, Node.js and 14 more 2024-01-05 6.8 MEDIUM 5.6 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in c-ares library, where a missing input validation check of host names returned by DNS (Domain Name Servers) can lead to output of wrong hostnames which might potentially lead to Domain Hijacking. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.
CVE-2023-3171 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform 2024-01-04 N/A 7.5 HIGH
A flaw was found in EAP-7 during deserialization of certain classes, which permits instantiation of HashMap and HashTable with no checks on resources consumed. This issue could allow an attacker to submit malicious requests using these classes, which could eventually exhaust the heap and result in a Denial of Service.
CVE-2023-1183 3 Fedoraproject, Libreoffice, Redhat 3 Fedora, Libreoffice, Enterprise Linux 2024-01-03 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in the Libreoffice package. An attacker can craft an odb containing a "database/script" file with a SCRIPT command where the contents of the file could be written to a new file whose location was determined by the attacker.
CVE-2023-3961 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Samba 5 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 2 more 2024-01-02 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
A path traversal vulnerability was identified in Samba when processing client pipe names connecting to Unix domain sockets within a private directory. Samba typically uses this mechanism to connect SMB clients to remote procedure call (RPC) services like SAMR LSA or SPOOLSS, which Samba initiates on demand. However, due to inadequate sanitization of incoming client pipe names, allowing a client to send a pipe name containing Unix directory traversal characters (../). This could result in SMB clients connecting as root to Unix domain sockets outside the private directory. If an attacker or client managed to send a pipe name resolving to an external service using an existing Unix domain socket, it could potentially lead to unauthorized access to the service and consequential adverse events, including compromise or service crashes.
