CVE-2023-49288 1 Squid-cache 1 Squid 2024-01-19 N/A 7.5 HIGH
Squid is a caching proxy for the Web supporting HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and more. Affected versions of squid are subject to a a Use-After-Free bug which can lead to a Denial of Service attack via collapsed forwarding. All versions of Squid from 3.5 up to and including 5.9 configured with "collapsed_forwarding on" are vulnerable. Configurations with "collapsed_forwarding off" or without a "collapsed_forwarding" directive are not vulnerable. This bug is fixed by Squid version 6.0.1. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should remove all collapsed_forwarding lines from their squid.conf.
CVE-2023-21255 2 Debian, Google 2 Debian Linux, Android 2024-01-19 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In multiple functions of binder.c, there is a possible memory corruption due to a use after free. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
CVE-2023-37117 1 Live555 1 Live555 2024-01-19 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
A heap-use-after-free vulnerability was found in live555 version 2023.05.10 while handling the SETUP.
CVE-2023-51781 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2024-01-18 N/A 7.0 HIGH
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 6.6.8. atalk_ioctl in net/appletalk/ddp.c has a use-after-free because of an atalk_recvmsg race condition.
CVE-2023-51782 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2024-01-18 N/A 7.0 HIGH
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 6.6.8. rose_ioctl in net/rose/af_rose.c has a use-after-free because of a rose_accept race condition.
CVE-2023-24734 1 Sigb 1 Pmb 2024-01-18 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
An arbitrary file upload vulnerability in the camera_upload.php component of PMB v7.4.6 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted image file.
CVE-2023-32378 1 Apple 1 Macos 2024-01-18 N/A 7.8 HIGH
A use-after-free issue was addressed with improved memory management. This issue is fixed in macOS Ventura 13.3, macOS Big Sur 11.7.5, macOS Monterey 12.6.4. An app may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges.
CVE-2023-41974 1 Apple 2 Ipados, Iphone Os 2024-01-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
A use-after-free issue was addressed with improved memory management. This issue is fixed in iOS 17 and iPadOS 17. An app may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges.
CVE-2023-42870 1 Apple 3 Ipados, Iphone Os, Macos 2024-01-16 N/A 7.8 HIGH
A use-after-free issue was addressed with improved memory management. This issue is fixed in macOS Sonoma 14, iOS 17 and iPadOS 17. An app may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges.
CVE-2023-4387 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2024-01-12 N/A 7.1 HIGH
A use-after-free flaw was found in vmxnet3_rq_alloc_rx_buf in drivers/net/vmxnet3/vmxnet3_drv.c in VMware's vmxnet3 ethernet NIC driver in the Linux Kernel. This issue could allow a local attacker to crash the system due to a double-free while cleaning up vmxnet3_rq_cleanup_all, which could also lead to a kernel information leak problem.
CVE-2022-2588 2 Canonical, Linux 2 Ubuntu Linux, Linux Kernel 2024-01-12 N/A 7.8 HIGH
It was discovered that the cls_route filter implementation in the Linux kernel would not remove an old filter from the hashtable before freeing it if its handle had the value 0.
CVE-2022-2602 2 Canonical, Linux 2 Ubuntu Linux, Linux Kernel 2024-01-12 N/A 7.0 HIGH
io_uring UAF, Unix SCM garbage collection
CVE-2023-5091 1 Arm 1 Valhall Gpu Kernel Driver 2024-01-12 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
Use After Free vulnerability in Arm Ltd Valhall GPU Kernel Driver allows a local non-privileged user to make improper GPU processing operations to gain access to already freed memory. This issue affects Valhall GPU Kernel Driver: from r37p0 through r40p0.
CVE-2023-40187 1 Freerdp 1 Freerdp 2024-01-12 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), released under the Apache license. Affected versions of the 3.x beta branch are subject to a Use-After-Free issue in the `avc420_ensure_buffer` and `avc444_ensure_buffer` functions. If the value of `piDstSize[x]` is 0, `ppYUVDstData[x]` will be freed. However, in this case `ppYUVDstData[x]` will not have been updated which leads to a Use-After-Free vulnerability. This issue has been addressed in version 3.0.0-beta3. Users of the 3.x beta releases are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
CVE-2023-39355 2 Debian, Freerdp 2 Debian Linux, Freerdp 2024-01-12 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), released under the Apache license. Versions of FreeRDP on the 3.x release branch before beta3 are subject to a Use-After-Free in processing `RDPGFX_CMDID_RESETGRAPHICS` packets. If `context->maxPlaneSize` is 0, `context->planesBuffer` will be freed. However, without updating `context->planesBuffer`, this leads to a Use-After-Free exploit vector. In most environments this should only result in a crash. This issue has been addressed in version 3.0.0-beta3 and users of the beta 3.x releases are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
CVE-2023-5197 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2024-01-11 N/A 6.6 MEDIUM
A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's netfilter: nf_tables component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. Addition and removal of rules from chain bindings within the same transaction causes leads to use-after-free. We recommend upgrading past commit f15f29fd4779be8a418b66e9d52979bb6d6c2325.
CVE-2023-35827 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2024-01-11 N/A 7.0 HIGH
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel through 6.3.8. A use-after-free was found in ravb_remove in drivers/net/ethernet/renesas/ravb_main.c.
CVE-2023-4921 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2024-01-11 N/A 7.8 HIGH
A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's net/sched: sch_qfq component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. When the plug qdisc is used as a class of the qfq qdisc, sending network packets triggers use-after-free in qfq_dequeue() due to the incorrect .peek handler of sch_plug and lack of error checking in agg_dequeue(). We recommend upgrading past commit 8fc134fee27f2263988ae38920bc03da416b03d8.
