A flaw was found in the python-cryptography package. This issue may allow a remote attacker to decrypt captured messages in TLS servers that use RSA key exchanges, which may lead to exposure of confidential or sensitive data.
CVE-2024-39891 1 Twilio 2 Authy, Authy Authenticator 2024-07-24 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
In the Twilio Authy API, accessed by Authy Android before 25.1.0 and Authy iOS before 26.1.0, an unauthenticated endpoint provided access to certain phone-number data, as exploited in the wild in June 2024. Specifically, the endpoint accepted a stream of requests containing phone numbers, and responded with information about whether each phone number was registered with Authy. (Authy accounts were not compromised, however.)
CVE-2020-13998 1 Citrix 1 Xenapp 2024-07-23 4.3 MEDIUM 5.3 MEDIUM
Citrix XenApp 6.5, when 2FA is enabled, allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to ascertain whether a user exists on the server, because the 2FA error page only occurs after a valid username is entered. NOTE: This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer
CVE-2023-51437 1 Apache 1 Pulsar 2024-07-22 N/A 7.4 HIGH
Observable timing discrepancy vulnerability in Apache Pulsar SASL Authentication Provider can allow an attacker to forge a SASL Role Token that will pass signature verification. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.11.3, 3.0.2, or 3.1.1 which fixes the issue. Users should also consider updating the configured secret in the `saslJaasServerRoleTokenSignerSecretPath` file. Any component matching an above version running the SASL Authentication Provider is affected. That includes the Pulsar Broker, Proxy, Websocket Proxy, or Function Worker. 2.11 Pulsar users should upgrade to at least 2.11.3. 3.0 Pulsar users should upgrade to at least 3.0.2. 3.1 Pulsar users should upgrade to at least 3.1.1. Any users running Pulsar 2.8, 2.9, 2.10, and earlier should upgrade to one of the above patched versions. CVE-2022-27221 1 Siemens 1 Sinema Remote Connect Server 2024-07-09 4.3 MEDIUM 5.9 MEDIUM
A vulnerability has been identified in SINEMA Remote Connect Server (All versions < V3.1). An attacker in machine-in-the-middle could obtain plaintext secret values by observing length differences during a series of guesses in which a string in an HTTP request URL potentially matches an unknown string in an HTTP response body, aka a "BREACH" attack.
CVE-2024-0553 3 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Redhat 3 Fedora, Gnutls, Enterprise Linux 2024-07-08 N/A 7.5 HIGH
A vulnerability was found in GnuTLS. The response times to malformed ciphertexts in RSA-PSK ClientKeyExchange differ from the response times of ciphertexts with correct PKCS#1 v1.5 padding. This issue may allow a remote attacker to perform a timing side-channel attack in the RSA-PSK key exchange, potentially leading to the leakage of sensitive data. CVE-2024-0553 is designated as an incomplete resolution for CVE-2023-5981.
CVE-2023-5981 3 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Redhat 3 Fedora, Gnutls, Linux 2024-07-08 N/A 5.9 MEDIUM
A vulnerability was found that the response times to malformed ciphertexts in RSA-PSK ClientKeyExchange differ from response times of ciphertexts with correct PKCS#1 v1.5 padding.
CVE-2024-39830 1 Mattermost 1 Mattermost 2024-07-05 N/A 5.9 MEDIUM
Mattermost versions 9.8.x <= 9.8.0, 9.7.x <= 9.7.4, 9.6.x <= 9.6.2 and 9.5.x <= 9.5.5, when shared channels are enabled, fail to use constant time comparison for remote cluster tokens which allows an attacker to retrieve the remote cluster token via a timing attack during remote cluster token comparison.
CVE-2022-30332 1 Talend 1 Administration Center 2024-07-03 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
In Talend Administration Center 7.3.1.20200219 before TAC-15950, the Forgot Password feature provides different error messages for invalid reset attempts depending on whether the email address is associated with any account. This allows remote attackers to enumerate accounts via a series of requests.
CVE-2023-6240 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2024-06-28 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
A Marvin vulnerability side-channel leakage was found in the RSA decryption operation in the Linux Kernel. This issue may allow a network attacker to decrypt ciphertexts or forge signatures, limiting the services that use that private key.
CVE-2024-2408 2 Fedoraproject, Php 2 Fedora, Php 2024-06-13 N/A 5.9 MEDIUM
The openssl_private_decrypt function in PHP, when using PKCS1 padding (OPENSSL_PKCS1_PADDING, which is the default), is vulnerable to the Marvin Attack unless it is used with an OpenSSL version that includes the changes from this pull request: https://github.com/openssl/openssl/pull/13817 (rsa_pkcs1_implicit_rejection). These changes are part of OpenSSL 3.2 and have also been backported to stable versions of various Linux distributions, as well as to the PHP builds provided for Windows since the previous release. All distributors and builders should ensure that this version is used to prevent PHP from being vulnerable. PHP Windows builds for the versions 8.1.29, 8.2.20 and 8.3.8 and above include OpenSSL patches that fix the vulnerability.
CVE-2024-37880 1 Pq-crystals 1 Kyber 2024-06-12 N/A 7.5 HIGH
The Kyber reference implementation before 9b8d306, when compiled by LLVM Clang through 18.x with some common optimization options, has a timing side channel that allows attackers to recover an ML-KEM 512 secret key in minutes. This occurs because poly_frommsg in poly.c does not prevent Clang from emitting a vulnerable secret-dependent branch.
CVE-2024-31878 1 Ibm 1 I 2024-06-11 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
IBM i 7.2, 7.3, 7.4, and 7.5 Service Tools Server (SST) is vulnerable to SST user enumeration by a remote attacker. This vulnerability can be used by a malicious actor to gather information about SST users that can be targeted in further attacks. IBM X-Force ID: 287538.
